Finance Full Stack AI App Dev Lead

What you'll do:

As a Senior Manager Finance Full Stack Application AI Developer you will:

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain full stack applications that operationalise finance data governance, reference data management, reporting enablement, and control processes.
• Develop intuitive front-end interfaces using modern web frameworks that simplify complex finance workflows for users while ensuring accessibility and usability.
• Implement robust back-end services, APIs, business logic, and integration components that support performance, integrity, maintainability, and security requirements.
• Integrate applications with enterprise data platforms, Microsoft 365 services, workflow tools, reporting platforms, databases, and external systems as needed.
• Embed operational controls into application design including role-based permissions, segregation of duties, approval history tracking, status monitoring, and audit trails.
• Automate repeatable finance processes by designing controlled digital workflows for maker/checker approvals, escalations, exception management, and evidence capture.
• Ensure applications are built with security-by-design principles such as secure authentication, authorisation protocols, data protection measures, audit logging capabilities.
• Support end-to-end application lifecycle management through DevOps practices including source control management (Git), CI/CD pipelines setup, automated testing procedures, release governance activities.
• Produce clear technical documentation covering deployment guides, support procedures, knowledge transfer materials for seamless production handover.
• Collaborate closely with finance subject matter experts (SMEs), data owners/stewards/technology teams/solution architects/testers/business users throughout solution design & delivery phases.

What you bring:

Your extensive background in full stack application development will be instrumental in this role, you will require:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Technology Software Engineering Data or related discipline is required for this position.
• At least five years’ proven experience designing building supporting enterprise applications across front-end back-end integration testing deployment environments.
• Hands-on expertise in full stack application development using technologies such as React Angular Vue JavaScript TypeScript HTML CSS .NET Java Node.js Python REST APIs microservices SQL databases data modelling concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to develop responsive accessible user interfaces applying modern UI/UX principles for finance users.
• Strong understanding of application architecture secure coding role-based access audit logging enterprise integration patterns relevant to regulated environments.
• Experience with source control DevOps practices including Git CI/CD pipelines automated testing release management documentation production support procedures.
• Proven track record translating complex business processes into simple controlled user-friendly digital applications within finance insurance data governance risk regulatory reporting contexts.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills enabling effective collaboration across business data technology teams solution architects testers SMEs analysts users.
• Attention to detail delivery discipline problem-solving capability ensuring robust maintainable secure fit-for-use solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Preferred: Experience with agentic engineering (Claude Code Codex Cursor Gravity) Microsoft technology stack (Azure App Services Functions SQL Entra ID Graph Power Platform SharePoint Dataverse Power BI) integration with enterprise data platforms workflow tools reporting platforms master/reference data systems Agile delivery environments containerisation cloud deployment API management certifications Azure software engineering cloud architecture DevOps Agile Centre of Excellence governed application delivery transformation programme.
