• Gather, analyse, and document detailed business and functional requirements by engaging with stakeholders from various departments.
• Work closely with business users and technical teams to translate complex business needs into practical system solutions that drive efficiency.
• Facilitate workshops and requirement gathering sessions to ensure all voices are heard and requirements are accurately captured.
• Analyse existing business processes thoroughly and recommend improvements that enhance both operational efficiency and user experience.
• Prepare comprehensive functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and business documentation to support project delivery.
• Support solution design activities by collaborating with developers, QA professionals, vendors, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate system integration efforts as well as User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployment phases to ensure seamless implementation.
• Track project progress meticulously, manage requirement changes proactively, and resolve issues collaboratively as they arise.
• Ensure all solutions align with business objectives while meeting regulatory requirements relevant to banking, financial services, or fintech environments.

What you bring:

Your extensive background as a Business Analyst within banking or financial services equips you with the skills needed to excel in this role. You bring deep experience in bridging communication gaps between business stakeholders and technology teams while supporting customer onboarding initiatives or workflow automation projects. Your familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies ensures smooth project delivery from start to finish. You possess exceptional documentation abilities—preparing functional specifications and user stories—and demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills that build trust across departments. Additionally, your experience coordinating solution design activities involving multiple partners makes you an invaluable asset. If you have exposure to client lifecycle management systems such as KYC/AML/CDD processes or digital banking platforms—including API integrations or CRM implementations—you will find ample opportunity to apply these skills here. Your proficiency with tools like SQL, Jira, Confluence or Visio further enhances your capability to contribute meaningfully.

• 5–10 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst within Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, Insurance or Capital Markets environments.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects by bridging communication between business stakeholders and technology teams in a dependable manner.
• Experience supporting customer onboarding processes or account opening initiatives within regulated industries is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with workflow automation tools or digital transformation projects that improve operational efficiency.
• Strong understanding of Agile or Waterfall delivery methodologies for managing project lifecycles effectively.
• Exceptional documentation skills including preparation of functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and business documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder management abilities combined with clear communication skills that foster trust among colleagues.
• Experience coordinating solution design activities involving developers, QA professionals, vendors, and other key partners.
• Nice to Have: Experience in customer onboarding or client lifecycle management; KYC / AML / Customer Due Diligence (CDD); digital banking or financial services platforms; API integrations; workflow or process automation; CRM implementations; SQL; Jira; Confluence; Visio.
