• Deep institutional knowledge of how global banks operate—including governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, risk management protocols—and ability to navigate complex compliance landscapes.
• Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution; comfortable switching between big-picture planning and detailed operational oversight as needed.
• Experience scaling teams rapidly while maintaining delivery stability in mature environments characterised by high dependency on mission-critical systems.
• Credibility to engage confidently with senior stakeholders globally—demonstrating sound judgement when managing competing priorities or navigating regional dynamics within matrix organisations.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence outcomes without direct authority; adept at building consensus among diverse groups of stakeholders.
• Experience building or transforming regional technology hubs from inception through maturity—ideally within highly regulated industries such as banking or financial services.
