* Play a central role in defining and governing the architecture roadmap for digital procurement transformation using SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, BTP, and complementary platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide objectives.

What you'll do:

As an SAP Solution Architect Procurement based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be at the forefront of designing and delivering transformative digital procurement solutions. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with stakeholders from various departments to align technical strategies with business objectives. You will architect integrated solutions leveraging SAP S/4HANA alongside leading-edge technologies like Ariba and BTP Integration Suite. By guiding process standardisation efforts and championing automation initiatives such as AI-driven insights or touchless buying experiences, you will help create efficient workflows that support compliance and operational excellence. Your expertise will also be crucial in integrating non-SAP tools like CLM or eSignature platforms into the enterprise landscape. In addition to technical responsibilities, you will mentor ERP teams locally while representing procurement architecture in global forums—ensuring that every solution is secure, scalable, compliant with regulations, and aligned with enterprise standards.

* Define and lead the procurement architecture roadmap encompassing SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, OpenText VIM, Fieldglass, MDG-SLP, and integration with SAP Business Network and BTP Integration Suite to ensure future-ready solutions.
* Integrate non-SAP procurement technologies such as Contract Lifecycle Management systems (e.g., SirionLabs) and eSignature platforms (e.g., DocuSign) into the broader enterprise architecture for seamless operations.
* Champion 'clean core' principles by minimising customisations while adhering to SAP and third-party guidelines to promote process standardisation and operational efficiency.
* Drive the adoption of automation technologies, artificial intelligence, and data-driven insights to enable touchless buying experiences, compliance adherence, and operational excellence within procurement processes.
* Translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure procurement solutions spanning both SAP and non-SAP platforms to meet diverse organisational needs.
* Take responsibility for end-to-end solution design including process standardisation initiatives, data governance frameworks, and integration patterns that support business transformation.
* Ensure all architectural solutions comply with enterprise architecture guardrails as well as security and regulatory requirements to maintain integrity across systems.
* Govern integration between SAP modules and third-party systems using SAP BTP, APIs, cloud connectors, and iPaaS platforms to facilitate smooth data flow across the organisation.
* Promote the adoption of digital procurement channels such as guided buying portals, online marketplaces, and supplier partnership programmes to enhance user experience.
* Enable digital contract management workflows including e-signature processes and supplier onboarding through coordinated platform integrations for improved efficiency.

What you bring:

To excel as an SAP Solution Architect Procurement you will bring extensive experience architecting complex ERP landscapes within large organisations—particularly those undergoing significant digital transformation. Your background should include deep familiarity with both core SAP modules (such as S/4HANA Ariba Fieldglass) as well as complementary technologies like CLM or eSignature platforms. You are adept at translating intricate business requirements into practical technical solutions that are secure scalable compliant—and you have a history of successfully integrating disparate systems using modern integration suites APIs or cloud connectors. Your collaborative approach enables you to work seamlessly across functional boundaries while your mentoring skills foster knowledge sharing within ERP teams. Additionally your awareness of industry trends around automation AI supplier risk management ensures that your solutions remain forward-thinking responsive to evolving business needs.

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering or a related field is required for this position.
* At least 12 years of experience in SAP architecture roles with a minimum of 5 years dedicated specifically to procurement transformation projects is essential.
* Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA along with hands-on experience in Ariba, ECC, SRM, OpenText VIM, Fieldglass and MDG-SLP is necessary for success in this role.
* Proven track record of managing large-scale ERP/SAP deployments focused on process standardisation as well as digital procurement transformation initiatives is highly valued.
* Comprehensive understanding of integration technologies including SAP BTP Integration Suite APIs data governance frameworks automation tools is expected.
* Demonstrable ability to guide multi-functional teams effectively while running global programmes that span multiple regions or entities is important.
* Strong communication skills partner management abilities interpersonal effectiveness are required for successful collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups.
