What you'll do:

As a Process Automation and Orchestration Lead based in Petaling Jaya, you will play a central role in transforming how the organisation approaches process optimisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing strategic roadmaps for automation that align with broader business transformation goals. You will establish governance frameworks that set the standard for workflow design and solution architecture. • Establish standards, principles, and governance frameworks for workflow, process automation, and orchestration initiatives to ensure consistency and quality.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process digitalisation, optimisation, and automation by conducting thorough process analysis and mapping.
• Assess potential automation projects based on their business value, complexity, cost, risk profile, scalability, and alignment with organisational priorities.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the automation delivery lifecycle by collaborating with internal technology teams, business users, and external vendors.
• Review solution architectures to ensure they meet requirements for scalability, security, maintainability, performance, and compliance with enterprise technology standards.
• Act as an escalation point for complex technical or architectural issues during implementation phases while supporting platform enhancements and continuous improvement activities.
• Drive consistent adoption of automation practices across all business functions by developing reusable frameworks, standards, components, and promoting knowledge sharing within internal communities.
• Monitor the impact of automation initiatives by establishing measures for benefits realisation such as cost optimisation, cycle-time reduction, productivity gains, improved process quality, risk mitigation, and enhanced customer experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or Management provides a solid foundation for understanding both technical concepts and business needs.
• At least eight years’ experience in process automation or related fields such as business process improvement or digital transformation demonstrates your ability to deliver impactful change across multiple functions.
• Proven track record leading end-to-end process automation initiatives—from initial analysis through implementation—ensures you can turn ideas into measurable results.
• Deep understanding of business process analysis techniques including mapping, optimisation strategies and redesign methodologies enables you to identify high-value opportunities for improvement.
• Experience developing automation roadmaps along with governance frameworks or delivery methodologies shows your capability in setting direction at both strategic and operational levels.
• Strong grasp of workflow concepts including orchestration patterns system integrations solution architecture ensures successful implementation of scalable solutions.
• Hands-on experience with platforms such as Camunda Pega Appian IBM BPM/BAW Microsoft Power Automate UiPath ServiceNow Temporal or similar technologies allows you to select appropriate tools for each project; familiarity with Kube Workflow is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills enable you to build trustful relationships across business units technology teams vendors ensuring smooth collaboration throughout project lifecycles.
• Experience managing external vendors implementation partners technology providers supports effective coordination delivery upgrades enhancements commercial matters.
