Network Security Engineer (L2 - L3)

What You'll Do:

• Investigate and resolve incidents related to network security technologies like Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Netskope.
• Configure, optimize, and tune network security appliances and cloud-based solutions.
• Conduct security assessments, analyze event data, and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
• Automate workflows using DevOps practices to enhance service delivery.
• Manage system health through proactive maintenance, policy updates, and lifecycle management.
• Lead complex fault resolution (L3 role), mentor junior engineers, and ensure adherence to ITIL-aligned processes.
• Design and implement security architectures aligned with industry best practices.

What You'll Bring:

• Tertiary qualification in IT or Cybersecurity
• 3+ years for L2 roles; 5+ years for L3 roles in IT security engineering within MSPs or large networks. Proven expertise in multi-client environments.
• Deep knowledge of Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Netskope platforms; experience with VPNs, SD-WAN, threat protection, SIEM integration, etc.
• Certifications such as NSE 4/5/7 (Fortinet), PCNSE (Palo Alto), Netskope certifications; ITIL Foundation are highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills, customer-focused mindset, adaptability in challenging environments, and collaborative team spirit.
