IT Audit Specialist – Cybersecurity Risk

About the Role We are seeking an experienced IT Audit Specialist with strong expertise in cybersecurity risk management to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity, resilience, and compliance of our technology systems, particularly within the financial services industry. Exposure to other industries is welcome, but a deep understanding of financial sector risks will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct IT audits with a focus on cybersecurity risk assessment and controls.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of information security frameworks, policies, and procedures.

• Identify vulnerabilities, recommend remediation, and monitor implementation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO 27001, PDPA, GDPR).

• Provide insights on emerging cyber threats and industry best practices.

• Prepare clear, concise audit reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

• Professional certifications preferred: CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC.

• Minimum 5 years of IT audit experience, with proven cybersecurity risk exposure.

• Strong knowledge of financial services industry regulations and risk frameworks.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
