Salesforce DevOps Engineer

Join a global IT shared service team as a Salesforce DevOps Engineer and play a pivotal role in driving the digital transformation of global sales and marketing processes. This position focuses on building and operating reliable CI/CD pipelines and release processes for Salesforce, ensuring seamless deployment and governance across environments.

What you'll do:

• Lead the DevOps and release strategy for a global Salesforce Sales & Service implementation.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps/Git and SFDX/sf CLI.
• Define environment strategies, branching models, release governance, approvals, and rollback/hotfix procedures.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues such as metadata dependencies, test failures, and permissions while improving speed and stability.
• Enforce DevOps standards including coding/deployment best practices, secrets management, and auditability.
• Collaborate with developers, admins, QA teams, and architects to ensure smooth delivery processes.

What you bring:

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps/Release Engineering with hands-on expertise in Salesforce delivery.
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce using tools like Azure DevOps/Git and SFDX/sf CLI.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce deployment concepts including metadata management, sandbox environments, Apex tests & coverage, dependencies, and rollback procedures.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) and familiarity with build tools and artifacts.
• Experience implementing quality gates (automated tests, static analysis) and managing authentication/secrets (e.g., Key Vault).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal) with openness to international travel (up to 10%).
