Senior Azure Infra Engineer (Rotation Shift)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Infra Engineer to join a global Managed Services team based in Kuala Lumpur. This role involves handling complex infrastructure, cloud, and operational challenges across globally distributed environments. As a subject matter expert, you will lead technical escalations, manage major incidents, collaborate with global teams, and ensure seamless service delivery within a 24/7 operational framework.

What you'll do:

• Serve as the highest escalation point for complex technical issues across enterprise environments involving Wintel, AD, Azure/M365, virtualization platforms, networking, and security tools.
• Act as the technical lead during major incidents to ensure rapid diagnosis, mitigation, and service restoration while driving root cause analysis and improvement plans.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to maintain consistent service quality and provide mentorship to junior engineers in rotation shift environment (Panama Shift, switch Day & Night Shift schedule every two week)
• Refine operational processes by reviewing runbooks, SOPs, and contributing to knowledge management initiatives.
• Support proactive monitoring, problem management, capacity planning, and long-term service stability efforts.

What you bring:

• Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in infrastructure or cloud engineering roles within MSP or enterprise environments.
• Technical Expertise: Hands-on proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory (AAD Connect), Azure/M365 services (Intune, Exchange Online), virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V), DNS/DHCP fundamentals, and security hardening practices.
• Incident Management: Demonstrated ability to lead high-severity incidents with strong ITIL knowledge and service reliability principles.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills under pressure with the ability to translate technical issues into business-focused updates; proven leadership in mentoring engineers.
• Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Associate/Expert-level certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305), VMware certifications, Security+, CCNA or equivalent credentials.
