What You’ll Do

As the General Manager of Warehouse & Distribution (FMCG), you will take charge of all aspects of warehousing, dispatch, and transport operations for our 3PL business in Malaysia. Your leadership will ensure operational efficiency, cost optimization, and exceptional service delivery to clients in the FMCG sector.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Warehouse Operations: Managing inbound/outbound processes, inventory accuracy, space utilization, and compliance with ISO standards.
• Dispatch Management: Optimizing dock scheduling, vehicle turnaround times, and loading accuracy during peak periods.
• Transport & Delivery Operations: Driving on-time delivery (OTD/OTIF) metrics while scaling delivery models for promotions and seasonal demands.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with Planning, Customer Service, Commercial teams, Finance, and Procurement to align logistics capabilities with client needs.
• Technology Integration: Utilizing WMS, TMS, SAP systems, GPS tracking tools, and analytics platforms for data-driven decision-making.
• Compliance & Safety Standards: Enforcing SOPs and risk controls while ensuring adherence to local laws and safety regulations.

What You’ll Bring

Your expertise in warehouse management and distribution within the FMCG sector will be critical to success in this role. We’re looking for a seasoned leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about delivering excellence.

You’ll need:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the supply chain function—preferably in 3PL or FMCG industries.
• Proficiency in IT tools like MS Excel, ERP (Oracle/SAP/ Dynamics365) systems, WMS/TMS software solutions.
• Strong leadership skills to mentor managers and foster professionalism across teams.
• Exceptional communication abilities to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
