  • Be part of a dependable team that prioritises health, safety, and environmental standards while striving for operational efficiency and inventory accuracy.

What you'll do:

As Warehouse Manager in Batu Kawan, you will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of warehouse operations within a manufacturing setting. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing the movement of materials from receipt through storage to dispatch, ensuring that production lines are consistently supplied without interruption. You will coordinate closely with logistics partners for the shipment of finished goods while maintaining rigorous inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits. By implementing ERP systems and optimising warehouse layouts, you will drive efficiency across the operation. Your leadership will be instrumental in training and supporting warehouse staff as you enforce health, safety, and environmental standards. Success in this role requires proactive collaboration with cross-functional teams—Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality—to ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO practices for batch-controlled materials. You will also manage incoming inspections alongside QA/QC when required and prepare detailed reports on inventory movements and key performance indicators. Your commitment to reducing waste and controlling operating costs will contribute directly to the organisation’s overall success.

  • Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storage, issuing, and dispatch to ensure smooth material flow throughout the facility.
  • Ensure timely supply of raw materials, components, and packaging to production lines by coordinating closely with relevant teams.
  • Manage finished goods coordination with logistics partners for efficient shipment and delivery processes.
  • Maintain high inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock audits, and diligent record-keeping practices.
  • Implement and optimise ERP systems within warehouse operations to streamline processes and improve data integrity.
  • Monitor material flow proactively to prevent production delays or shortages by collaborating with production planning teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Planning, Procurement, and Quality teams to foster a supportive network that ensures operational success.
  • Ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO practices especially for perishable or batch-controlled materials by enforcing best practices among staff.
  • Optimise warehouse layout for space utilisation and efficiency while considering safety and accessibility for all team members.
  • Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff including storekeepers and forklift drivers by providing guidance, encouragement, and ongoing support.

What you bring:

Your proven experience as Warehouse Manager will be evident through your deep understanding of supply chain dynamics within manufacturing settings. You bring not only technical expertise in MRP/ERP systems but also strong interpersonal skills that enable you to collaborate effectively across departments. Your background includes managing large inventories with precision while adhering strictly to ISO standards for quality assurance. As a compassionate leader, you have successfully trained diverse teams—storekeepers, forklift drivers—fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect and support. Your attention to detail ensures accurate stock records while your commitment to health and safety creates a nurturing environment for colleagues. You excel at preparing comprehensive reports on inventory movements which inform strategic decisions. Above all, your ability to connect with others makes you an invaluable member of any team focused on operational excellence.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or related field is essential for understanding complex warehouse operations.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics management within a manufacturing environment demonstrates your dependability and expertise.
  • Strong understanding of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems enables you to optimise processes efficiently.
  • Knowledge of production planning principles combined with proven inventory control skills supports accurate material flow management.
  • Experience managing large-volume SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) as well as material handling showcases your ability to handle diverse product ranges responsibly.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards such as ISO 9001 ensures compliance with quality management requirements across all operations.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities paired with team management skills allow you to nurture staff development in an inclusive manner.
  • Excellent communication skills facilitate effective collaboration between departments while promoting a supportive workplace culture.
