Sourcing Manager (Retail) – Remote (1-Year Contract)

We are partnering with a growing organisation within the Retail / Consumer Goods industry to hire a Sourcing Manager (Remote) on a 1-year contract. This is a fully work-from-home opportunity, ideal for a commercially driven sourcing professional who enjoys market exploration and supplier development.

What you’ll do

As the Sourcing Manager (Retail / Consumer Goods), you will play a key role in identifying new sourcing opportunities and strengthening supplier capabilities across regions.

• Explore and assess new sourcing markets based on cost, risk, and supply landscape
• Provide market insights and updates on industry trends, pricing, and innovation
• Support and execute sourcing strategies in alignment with global stakeholders
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors to meet business requirements
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. merchandising, quality, compliance) to qualify suppliers
• Guide vendors on operational processes, compliance standards, and expectations
• Monitor order progress and support on-time shipment execution
• Review supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Support ad hoc sourcing or transformation projects as required

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or vendor management within retail, consumer goods, or related industries
• Strong understanding of supplier sourcing, evaluation, and development
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across regions
• Good commercial acumen with the ability to balance cost, quality, and risk
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote working environment
• Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced setting
