A leading global FMCG company is seeking a SEA Excellence Lead to join their team in Kuala Lumpur.

What you'll do:

As the SEA Planning Excellence Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the region’s approach to analytics-driven business planning.

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of operations projects across Southeast Asia, ensuring alignment with regional priorities while embedding governance and sustainable ways of working.
  • Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle by embedding demand and financial templates and ensuring effective executive governance.
  • Design, build, and optimise Power BI dashboards to support sales, supply chain, and IBP performance management across all SEA markets.
  • Automate recurring reporting processes using scalable data models and workflows that strengthen data quality, governance, and cross-market consistency.
  • Provide analytical insights on demand planning, supply performance, inventory health, and sales trends by partnering closely with Sales, Supply Chain, S&OP teams.
  • Support forecasting activities, channel performance reviews, KPI tracking, and identify risks or opportunities for operational improvements.

What you bring:

To excel as the Southeast Asia Planning Excellence Lead, your proven experience should encompass both technical expertise in advanced analytics tools like Excel and Power BI as well as deep familiarity with sales operations or supply chain management within FMCG sectors.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations or related field is required for this position.
  • 7-9+ years’ experience in sales operations, supply planning, logistics or data analytics within FMCG or foodservice environments is highly desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for complex data analysis tasks alongside strong Power BI dashboarding skills is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders effectively at all levels through considerate communication methods that influence outcomes positively.
  • Strategic thinking capabilities enabling you to balance operational detail with broader organisational priorities while identifying risks or process improvements proactively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills allowing you to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences both internally and externally.
  • Experience in automating reporting processes using scalable data models or workflows that improve efficiency is advantageous.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales Leads, Supply Chain Leads, Finance Partners as well as IT/Data specialists.
  • Proven track record of developing training materials or best-practice guides for upskilling colleagues on analytical tools such as Power BI.
  • Commitment to nurturing a supportive environment where knowledge sharing drives collective success.
