A leading global provider is seeking a Logistics Specialist Lubricants to join their remote team, focusing on delivery operations within Singapore.

What you'll do:

As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for orchestrating the entire delivery operation from initial customer enquiry through to successful onboard delivery.

  • Facilitate the end-to-end delivery process flow from initial customer service enquiry through to final delivery onboard customer vessels by liaising with internal teams and external logistics service providers.
  • Monitor stock levels across barges, supply boats, and logistics service providers while working collaboratively with production planners and supply planners to maintain agreed inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with shipping agents and port authorities to receive vessel arrival notices and arrange timely supply of lubricants to vessels in accordance with schedules.
  • Maintain up-to-date vessel schedules to ensure punctual deliveries via barge, supply boat, or truck through effective communication with agents and the customer service team.
  • Ensure all orders assigned to company-utilised barges, supply boats, and third-party delivery agents are acknowledged and executed promptly according to industry-leading metrics.
  • Prepare delivery receipts accurately based on customer purchase orders before issuing them to barges, supply boats, or third-party contractors for supply initiation.
  • Reconcile physical balances at barges and warehouses monthly to maintain precise inventory records.

What you bring:

Your proven experience as a Logistics Specialist Lubricants will include a solid educational background in maritime studies or related fields coupled with substantial hands-on exposure in marine supply logistics within multinational settings.

  • Diploma or degree in Maritime Studies, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business or related discipline is required for this role.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in marine supply logistics and operations scheduling within a multinational environment is essential.
  • High proficiency in data analytics for cost analysis and logistics optimisation is necessary; you should be able to quantify cost savings through data-driven insights for assigned projects.
  • Sound IT knowledge including appreciation of large datasets for analysis is vital; Excel competency (Vlookup, Pivot Table, Formulation), Monday.com system familiarity, and SAP experience are highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration across teams as well as external partners are crucial for success.
  • Adaptability in handling ad-hoc tasks or projects demonstrates your willingness to support communal goals.
