What You’ll Do
End-to-End Supply Chain Planning
- Lead supply planning activities to ensure product availability aligns with business requirements, customer commitments, and operational capabilities.
- Develop robust supply plans by analyzing demand trends, production capacity, material availability, and inventory levels.
- Monitor supply performance and implement corrective actions to address potential gaps or constraints.
Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal teams across Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Commercial, and Customer Service functions to ensure seamless operational alignment.
- Participate in business planning discussions and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and external stakeholders to enhance responsiveness, service levels, and supply continuity.
Inventory & Operational Performance
- Establish inventory strategies that balance customer service expectations with inventory investment objectives.
- Review stock positioning, replenishment activities, and inventory policies to improve overall supply chain efficiency.
- Proactively identify supply risks and coordinate mitigation plans to minimize business impact.
Planning Systems & Process Enhancement
- Drive improvements in planning methodologies, reporting capabilities, and operational workflows.
- Leverage ERP systems and planning platforms to enhance visibility, decision-making, and accuracy.
- Support transformation initiatives focused on automation, digitalization, and process standardization.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop a high-performing planning team through coaching, performance management, and capability building.
- Foster a collaborative culture that encourages innovation and accountability while driving continuous improvement.
- Support organizational growth through succession planning and talent development initiatives.
Strategic Initiatives
- Contribute to long-term supply chain strategies that support business growth and operational excellence.
- Lead projects related to supply chain optimization, network efficiency, cost improvement, and service enhancement.
- Evaluate emerging trends, risks, and opportunities within the supply chain environment and recommend appropriate actions.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for an experienced professional who thrives in dynamic environments and has a proven track record of success in supply chain management. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- At least 8 years of experience in supply chain strategy or business planning roles within the manufacturing industry or similar sectors.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in demand forecasting, inventory management, and capacity planning.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced planning tools; experience with digital transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and foster collaboration across functions.
- A results-driven mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
