Regional Supply Planner (APAC)

Save job

Are you ready to take your supply chain expertise to the next level? We’re partnering with a global organisation that is establishing its Shared Services Supply Chain hub in Kuala Lumpur. * Regional exposure across APAC markets with cross-country coordination. * The opportunity to build and optimise planning processes from the ground up. * A hybrid working model in a fast-evolving, dynamic setup.

About the Role

As the Regional Supply Planner (APAC), you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless product availability across multiple countries while balancing supply-demand and optimising inventory levels. Reporting directly to the Regional Supply Planning Manager, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across APAC markets to drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and executing regional supply planning activities across APAC markets.
  • Collaborating with country teams, commercial teams, demand planners, and logistics partners to ensure supply continuity.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and supporting inventory optimisation across multiple locations.
  • Aligning supply plans with demand forecasts and identifying potential risks or gaps in supply.
  • Coordinating with global and regional stakeholders to ensure product availability and allocation decisions.
  • Supporting S&OP/IBP processes and contributing to improvements in planning accuracy.
  • Analysing supply constraints and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Driving continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, and data accuracy.
  • Supporting regional projects related to supply chain transformation and planning excellence.

What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–8+ years of experience in supply planning, supply chain planning, or demand & supply coordination.
  • Experience working in a regional or multi-country supply chain environment (highly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of inventory planning, forecasting, and supply-demand balancing principles.
  • Industry experience in FMCG, consumer goods, pharmaceutical, or similar sectors (an advantage).
  • Comfort working in a shared services or remote regional setup.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with planning tools like SAP APO or IBP is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders across diverse countries effectively.

What Makes This Role Exciting

Here’s why this opportunity stands out:

  • Be part of a pioneer team shaping the future of a newly established regional hub.
  • Gain exposure to APAC-level operations, managing supply chains across multiple countries rather than being limited to one market.
  • Work within a hybrid model based in vibrant Kuala Lumpur, offering flexibility and work-life balance.
  • Contribute to building and improving planning processes as the team scales regionally.
  • Enjoy direct reporting lines to regional leadership with strong visibility into decision-making processes.
