What you'll do:
As Specification Manager – Building Materials, you will be at the forefront of driving business development initiatives across Malaysia and Singapore. - Identify, develop, and onboard new distributors, applicators, and channel partners throughout Malaysia and Singapore by leveraging your interpersonal skills and market insights.
- Drive market entry strategies and facilitate growth in emerging industry segments including electronics manufacturing, battery production facilities, data centres, biolabs, and cleanroom environments.
- Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies and detailed business plans tailored for newly targeted industry segments to ensure successful penetration.
- Work collaboratively with channel partners to generate robust pipelines of opportunities, manage ongoing projects effectively, and support the closure of key deals.
- Support distributors and applicators by providing technical product positioning guidance, participating in commercial discussions, and crafting compelling solution proposals.
- Ensure all activities align with overarching sales strategies, pricing structures, and brand positioning guidelines set by the organisation.
- Act as a dependable technical-commercial resource for both distributors and customers operating in technically demanding environments such as controlled or cleanroom settings.
- Collaborate closely with internal technical teams, specification consultants, and regional colleagues to deliver optimal solutions that meet client needs.
- Participate in site visits when required to provide product recommendations and engage in application discussions that drive project success.
- Coordinate with regional headquarters as well as global stakeholders to ensure alignment on industry trends, competitive intelligence gathering, and customer feedback reporting.
