What you'll do:

As a Regional Sales Specialist based in Kuala Lumpur, you will immerse yourself in a multifaceted role that bridges technical expertise with commercial acumen. Your daily activities will revolve around engaging potential clients across international markets through insightful product demonstrations and strategic discussions. You will be responsible for identifying new business avenues via market research while crafting competitive proposals that address specific client needs.

  • Promote the company’s products and services to overseas and non-utility markets by delivering compelling product presentations and operational demonstrations tailored to client requirements.
  • Conduct thorough market surveys to identify gaps and develop new business opportunities, ensuring the company remains competitive in evolving markets.
  • Interpret complex technical specifications and requirements to prepare competitive techno-commercial offers for tenders and enquiries, collaborating closely with suppliers and manufacturing departments to gather necessary documentation.
  • Engage with clients to present and discuss bespoke techno-commercial solutions, building strong rapport with both new prospects and existing customers through attentive communication.
  • Monitor progress towards sales targets by preparing detailed reports for senior management as required, ensuring transparency and accountability in all activities.
  • Analyse costs and sales data while negotiating tenders, contract terms, and conditions to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for both clients and the company.
  • Deliver comprehensive pre-sales and post-sales technical support to clients, offering guidance not only externally but also assisting team members internally when needed.
