What you'll do:
As Sales Manager Modern Trade based in Johor Bahru, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's success within the modern trade channel. - Manage and expand modern trade key accounts including hypermarkets, supermarkets, and local retail chains by developing tailored strategies for each client.
- Develop comprehensive annual sales plans, targets, and account strategies that align with organisational objectives to achieve revenue growth and distribution goals.
- Lead negotiations on pricing structures, promotional activities, product listings, and commercial terms with key customers to maximise profitability.
- Monitor sales performance closely by forecasting demand accurately and ensuring achievement of sales targets as well as key performance indicators.
- Plan, execute, and monitor in-store promotions, product launches, and merchandising activities to enhance brand presence within retail environments.
- Collaborate extensively with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure timely product availability and effective execution of trade marketing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements including planograms and promotional agreements while maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
- Analyse sales data, market trends, and competitor activities regularly to identify new growth opportunities for expanding market share.
- Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews for management to inform strategic decision-making processes.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the modern trade sales team by fostering a supportive environment that encourages collaboration and achievement of business objectives.
