What you'll do:

- Act as a trusted regional mentor by providing insights into customer behaviour, competitive activity, and emerging trends across China, Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan.
- Present, promote, and sell the food ingredients portfolio to both existing and prospective customers using compelling commercial and technical arguments that address their unique needs.
- Conduct detailed cost–benefit analyses to identify customer requirements and propose value-driven solutions that support their business objectives.
- Build and nurture strong trust-based relationships with customers, distributors, channel partners, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
- Identify new business opportunities through proactive lead generation activities such as cold-calling and distributor development initiatives.
- Manage assigned global accounts within the region by ensuring alignment with international strategies and maintaining high service standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer issues by facilitating timely resolutions and supporting clients with technical information or product application insights.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including Supply Chain, Production, QA, R&D, Applications, and Sales Administration to ensure continuity of supply and outstanding customer service.
- Monitor market potential by analysing sales performance data; prepare accurate status reports; provide management with actionable insights on customer needs, competitor activity, regulatory changes; stay informed on best practices.
