Head of Marketing (DTC Fashion brand)
A pioneering direct-to-consumer fashion brand is seeking a Marketing Lead to drive its global marketing strategy, with an initial focus on the UK, Aus, and NZ. Based remotely in Kuala Lumpur, you will own the marketing P&L, manage significant paid acquisition budgets, and lead creative and growth initiatives. What You'll Do
As Marketing Lead – Direct-to-Consumer Fashion, based remotely in Kuala Lumpur, you will lead the brand’s global marketing strategy and execution. Your responsibilities will span paid acquisition, brand marketing, lifecycle communications, content production, and customer retention across key markets including the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
You will manage significant paid media budgets, oversee creative development, and drive customer growth through a combination of performance marketing, brand-building initiatives, and data-led decision-making. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will ensure all marketing activities contribute meaningfully to revenue growth, profitability, and customer loyalty.
As the business expands internationally, you will also play a key role in building and scaling the marketing function, recruiting talent, and establishing processes that support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the global marketing strategy across paid acquisition, brand marketing, lifecycle communications, content, and retention initiatives.
- Manage paid acquisition budgets of up to $1M+ per month across Meta, TikTok, Google, and other relevant channels while maintaining target CAC and contribution margins.
- Lead and optimise performance across digital marketing channels through collaboration with internal teams and external agencies.
- Build and manage a high-volume creative pipeline, delivering over 100 tested assets per month across performance and brand campaigns.
- Oversee email, SMS, and on-site lifecycle marketing strategies to increase repeat purchases, AOV, and customer lifetime value.
- Launch and scale the brand across new international markets through structured market entry and growth strategies.
- Maintain an integrated marketing calendar aligned across paid media, influencer partnerships, organic content, and PR initiatives.
- Define, monitor, and optimise key marketing metrics including revenue, blended CAC, payback periods, contribution margins, and LTV.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop marketing talent as the team grows.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams including product, supply chain, customer experience, creative, and external partners.
What You Bring
- Minimum 5 years of experience in direct-to-consumer e-commerce marketing with ownership of marketing P&L.
- At least 2 years of experience managing and scaling paid acquisition budgets exceeding $250k per month on Meta platforms.
- Proven success launching and growing brands across multiple international markets, ideally including the UK.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to provide clear briefs and direction to creative and marketing teams.
- Comfortable operating in a high-accountability environment with regular KPI reviews and performance tracking.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset, with the ability to translate insights into actionable growth strategies.
- Experience managing large-scale creative production and testing programmes.
- Demonstrated ability to hire, onboard, and develop high-performing team members.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Shopify Plus, Klaviyo, Triple Whale, or Northbeam is advantageous.
- Additional advantage if you have experience within apparel, fashion, men's products, or factory-direct consumer brands.
