Senior Marketing Manager (NGO/Fundraising)

As Senior Marketing Manager – Fundraising and Campaigns in Kuala Lumpur, you will play a key role in advancing the organisation’s mission through strategic, high-impact marketing. You will lead end-to-end campaign planning and execution to achieve and exceed fundraising goals, while guiding a multi-disciplinary team and fostering a culture of collaboration, empathy, and shared purpose.
You will integrate digital and traditional channels to broaden reach, strengthen brand presence, and engage diverse audiences. A core part of your role will be building and nurturing corporate partnerships that support long-term fundraising success. You will also ensure strong governance through budget management, performance tracking, and timely reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead planning and execution of integrated marketing, branding, and awareness campaigns aligned to fundraising objectives
- Ensure brand consistency and alignment with organisational and donor engagement goals
- Drive digital marketing strategy including social media, content, analytics, and paid media
- Lead, coach, and develop teams across Campaigns, Digital Marketing, and Corporate Relations
- Foster a values-led, compassionate, and high-performing team culture
- Develop CSR proposals, partnership decks, and corporate engagement initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners and key stakeholders
- Collaborate with Communications to ensure consistent messaging across channels
- Manage marketing budgets and support reporting cycles
- Track KPIs, evaluate campaign performance, and deliver actionable insights for improvement
What you bring:
You bring strong experience in integrated marketing, with a proven ability to deliver campaigns that drive both engagement and fundraising outcomes. You are confident leading cross-functional teams and balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Known for your collaborative approach, you build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners alike.
You are digitally savvy, comfortable using marketing tools and analytics to optimise performance, and able to adapt strategies based on insights. Above all, you lead with empathy, integrity, and a genuine commitment to purpose-driven work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
- 5–8 years’ experience in integrated marketing (non-profit or commercial)
- Proven leadership experience with team coaching and development
- Strong track record of successful fundraising or awareness campaigns with measurable KPIs
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with digital marketing tools, platforms, and paid media
- Creative, data-driven problem solver with strong adaptability
- Commitment to ethical, values-led leadership
