Banking & Finance Legal Associate

Seeking a Banking & Finance Legal Associate (3–5 years' PQE) to join a leading law firm. Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on banking and finance transactions and related legal and regulatory matters.

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalise financing agreements, security documents, legal opinions, and other transaction documents.

• Manage financing transactions from inception to completion, coordinating with clients, financial institutions, regulators, and external advisers.

• Conduct legal due diligence, identify legal risks, and provide practical, commercially focused legal advice.

• Undertake legal research and ensure advice is accurate, timely, and aligned with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues while managing matters independently and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 3–5 years' post-qualification experience in Banking & Finance.

• Strong drafting, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.

• Proactive, organised, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality legal services.
