Zainurazira Zainal Abidin

Head of Legal - Touch ‘N Go Sdn Bhd

Azira Zainal started her legal career in private practice with Zaid Ibrahim & Co. specialising in corporate, commercial and intellectual property litigation. Her pivot in-house started at production start-up Ideate Media, where she handled all legal and business affairs with respect to the development, production and exploitation of film, TV and digital content. After a short stint as a legal consultant for the legal content division at Astro Malaysia, Azira went on to Axiata Group Berhad to lead the legal content division on content and intellectual property matters, and expand her expertise into mergers and acquisitions and commercial procurement.

Her current role as head of legal at Touch & Go, Malaysia's pioneer in fintech and contactless payment systems, commenced in April 2021. Azira Zainal is an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. She holds an LL.M (IP Laws) from King's College London and an MBA from Cardiff Business School.

Chiew Ee is a partner at Rahmat Lim & Partners firm and her areas of practice include corporate and commercial litigation, restructuring and insolvency, and international arbitration. She is also part of the Firm’s ESG & Public Policy practice. She has represented a wide range of clients, including multi-national corporations, liquidators, receivers and managers, financial institutions, and foreign clients, in a multitude of disputes at all levels of court in Malaysia and in both institutional and ad hoc international and domestic arbitrations.

She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and an Accredited Tribunal Secretary at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre. She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaysia in 2012. She holds an adjunct faculty position in a Malaysian university where she teaches internal dispute resolution and has published academic articles in areas such as the law of restitution and equity.

Chief Legal Officer - Omesti Berhad

Navrita joined the OMESTI Group as Group General Counsel in April 2011 and subsequently appointed as Chief Legal Officer in 2019. She was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2007 and worked as an advocate and solicitor in the Litigation Department at Messrs Shook Lin & Bok, Malaysia prior to joining OMESTI.

As Chief Legal Officer, Navrita is responsible for the legal affairs of the entire OMESTI Group, which comprises more than 20 legal entities. She provides expert and strategic legal advice to the board of directors and senior management and deals with matters that cut across legal and related areas. The activities of the Group span a wide range of technology innovation and solution delivery projects for clients in multiple industry sectors, including judiciary, telco, logistics, FSI and the public sector.

Amylia Soraya  Aminuddin

Amylia Soraya Aminuddin is a Partner under the Knowledge Management, Research and Training as well as the Intellectual Property Departments at Zul Rafique & Partners firm. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws Degree from the International Islamic University of Malaysia and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2013.

Amylia assists on a variety of matters, among others, legal marketing, recruitment, performance management, resource management as well as learning, development and training programmes including the management of pupils and interns in the Firm. Amylia is also a registered Trademark Agent with the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) and has assisted on various matters involving intellectual property law.
