What you'll do:

As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will lead the end-to-end recruitment process for the organisation while developing strategies to attract top talent in Penang’s competitive manufacturing sector. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, designing effective sourcing strategies, and managing the full recruitment lifecycle. You will also focus on building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the organisation remains an employer of choice.

By leveraging data-driven insights from recruitment analytics systems, you will optimise hiring processes and provide actionable recommendations to improve time-to-hire and quality-of-hire metrics. Additionally, you will oversee employer branding initiatives that position the company as a preferred workplace for diverse talent pools. Success in this position requires fostering an inclusive environment where candidates feel valued throughout the hiring journey while collaborating closely with HR teams to align recruitment efforts with broader organisational goals.

  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding for roles across all levels of the organisation.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce planning needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Design and implement innovative sourcing techniques to attract high-quality candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media platforms, employee referrals, and networking events.
  • Drive employer branding initiatives by collaborating with marketing teams to create compelling content that highlights the organisation’s culture, values, and career opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with external recruitment agencies and other talent acquisition partners to expand candidate pipelines.
  • Utilise recruitment analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire; provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations throughout the hiring process while promoting diversity and inclusion in all recruitment activities.
  • Conduct market research on industry trends and competitor practices to stay ahead in attracting top talent.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior recruiters or HR team members involved in the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to align talent acquisition efforts with broader human capital strategies.

What you bring:

Your extensive experience in talent acquisition enables you to bring proven expertise in managing end-to-end recruitment processes within multinational organisations. You possess deep knowledge of sourcing methodologies combined with strong interpersonal skills that allow you to connect meaningfully with both candidates and internal stakeholders. Your familiarity with modern applicant tracking systems (ATS) ensures you can streamline hiring workflows while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration or any relevant field is required for this role.
  • At least 8–10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment roles within multinational environments; prior experience in manufacturing industries is highly advantageous.
  • Proven ability to design and execute effective sourcing strategies that attract high-calibre candidates across diverse functions.
  • Strong background in employer branding initiatives including creating content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Demonstrated success utilising data-driven decision-making approaches through recruitment analytics systems.
  • Familiarity with modern applicant tracking systems (ATS) along with proficiency in leveraging social media platforms for recruitment purposes.
  • Experience managing relationships with external recruitment agencies or search firms.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective communication across all levels of the organisation as well as external partners.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws related to hiring practices; commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion throughout the recruitment process.
