- Develop and implement effective talent management programmes that foster employee growth, engagement, and career progression within the organisation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees by offering thoughtful solutions on performance management, employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver impactful training sessions that address skill gaps and promote continuous learning throughout the workforce.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives by promoting fair practices in recruitment, development, and recognition processes.
- Monitor HR metrics such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction scores, and time-to-fill vacancies; use data-driven insights to recommend improvements for HR policies or procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations by keeping up-to-date with legislative changes affecting HR practices in Malaysia.
- Facilitate regular feedback sessions with employees to gather input on workplace culture and identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to special projects such as organisational restructuring or change management initiatives by providing HR expertise throughout the process.

Your interpersonal strengths—such as empathy, active listening skills, clear communication style—will enable you to build rapport quickly with colleagues at all levels. Analytical abilities are also important since you’ll be expected to interpret HR data accurately before recommending improvements. Experience facilitating training sessions or workshops would further enhance your contribution by helping others develop professionally. Above all else, your commitment to inclusivity ensures every team member feels valued regardless of their background or identity.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management within a human resources function where you have built trusting relationships across multiple levels of an organisation.
- Proven track record in talent acquisition including hands-on involvement in sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, making hiring decisions, and facilitating smooth onboarding experiences.
- Strong background in talent management encompassing performance reviews, succession planning, career development initiatives, and employee engagement activities.

- Sound knowledge of Malaysian employment law along with practical experience ensuring compliance in all HR-related matters.
- Ability to interpret HR metrics using analytical thinking skills; experience leveraging data insights for process improvements is highly desirable.
- Experience designing or delivering training programmes aimed at upskilling employees or addressing specific organisational needs would be advantageous.
