Project Manager (HR Learning)
A leading organisation is seeking a Project Manager to drive excellence within their Group Human Resources function, focusing on the delivery of a pivotal Learning project. This role offers you the opportunity to act as a trusted partner, enabling HR to achieve strategic alignment and delivery excellence through your expertise in project management.
You will play a key role in aligning HR strategy with business goals by leading the Learning project from inception to completion, ensuring all deliverables meet high standards of accuracy and completeness.
What you'll do:
As Project Manager (HR Learning), you will be entrusted with overseeing the end-to-end delivery of a transformative Learning initiative within the Group.
- Develop and implement project management initiatives that are closely aligned with strategic HR objectives, ensuring that every phase of the Learning project supports broader organisational goals.
- Establish best practices for project frameworks, standardising processes to enhance efficiency and consistency across all deliverables.
- Monitor project timelines meticulously, proactively addressing any delays or issues to guarantee timely delivery of outcomes.
- Oversee the work of consultants supporting the project, providing guidance and direction to ensure their contributions align with quality expectations.
- Review all deliverables from a quality control perspective, maintaining rigorous standards of accuracy and completeness throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate strong stakeholder management by engaging with Centres of Excellence (CoE), HR teams, and HR Tech groups to promote effective communication and cooperation.
- Prepare comprehensive project status reports for senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and compliance with established methodologies.
What you bring:
To excel in the role, you bring substantial experience managing complex projects within regulated environments—particularly those focused on HR transformation or operational improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Development, Project Management or related discipline is required for this role.
- Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience managing HR projects or related roles such as HR transformation, change management, HR operations or process improvement initiatives.
- Proven track record supervising teams or leading specialist workstreams within HR projects including policy implementation or organisational change support activities.
- Strong knowledge of Workday Learning or similar learning platforms is preferred; familiarity with digital learning systems enhances your suitability for this position.
- Exceptional project management skills encompassing planning, scheduling, risk assessment and mitigation
- Effective stakeholder engagement skills enable you to build trust-based relationships across CoE, HR functions and technology teams.
- Excellent interpersonal communication abilities allow you to present complex information clearly to senior
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is considered advantageous but not mandatory.
