  • Provide insight and challenge to leaders on structure, capability, leadership effectiveness, and culture.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of HR professionals across Malaysia, Singapore, and India.
  • Set clear objectives, provide coaching, and build capability within the HR team to ensure high performance.

  • Drive learning, leadership development, and career progression initiatives.
  • Oversee employee relations matters, disciplinary processes, grievances, and investigations.
  • Manage offboarding, retention analysis, and exit feedback to improve employee experience.

Culture, Engagement & Change

  • Build an inclusive, high-performance culture across geographically diverse teams.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives and action planning following surveys.
  • Support business transformation, restructuring, acquisitions, or growth initiatives as required.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure HR practices comply with employment legislation in Malaysia, Singapore, and India.
  • Maintain full compliance for foreign worker employment, visas, work permits, immigration sponsorships, renewals, and associated regulatory obligations across all three sites.
  • Manage legal risk and policy implementation.
  • Maintain robust HR governance, documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Ensure consistent application of policies while recognising local market requirements.

Collaboration with Group HR

  • Implement group-wide HR programmes, policies, and initiatives within the division.
  • Provide feedback from the division to shape global HR priorities and solutions.
  • Ensure alignment between divisional execution and group-wide people strategy.

  • Proven delivery across the full HR lifecycle.
  • Strong experience across APAC markets, ideally including Malaysia, Singapore, and India.
  • Experience managing organisational change, scaling businesses, or transformation programmes.
  • Commercially astute with strong business acumen.
  • Strong foreign worker compliance, immigration, and employee relations capability across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Able to operate strategically while remaining hands-on and delivery focused.
  • Degree qualified in HR, Business, Psychology, or related discipline.
