About the role:
The role of the will be to be the first point of contact for Managers and Employees to provide advice, support, and guidance with a focus on performance management and employee relations.
The role will report into the Senior HR Business Partner and work closely with the regional HR Business Partners and wider HR teams to implement people strategy.
The role will be responsible for ensuring a fair and consistent HR delivery throughout the organisation, whilst promoting a positive culture within the business.
Responsibilities:
Strategy, Data and Change:
- Participate in solutions for restructuring, in partnership with the regional HR Business Partners when necessary, including assessing financial impact.
- Work with the CoE ensuring policies and procedures are kept up to date and reviewed frequently
- Assist with the development and introduction of new or revised HR policies and processes. Review ways of harmonisation and working and challenge as is process, to ensure improved efficiency.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of change in the organisation by using data.
- Perform HR data analytics on onboarding, offboarding, GLINT and share any key HR data points for reference
- Collaborate with wider HR teams to deliver People Plans, gain an understanding of other regions and how they operate to improve current processes.
- Assist with HR related projects when required, provide necessary data, and coordinate the project.
Employee Relations:
- Provide guidance and advice to employees and managers on any employee related issues including, disciplinaries, grievances, performance and long-term sickness. Ensure advice is in line with current local legislation and RW policies.
- Support the business in resolving matters of conflict at the earliest opportunity and advise managers on how to progress any formal processes within these areas.
- Develop effective relationships with the business and promote good employee relations across the organization.
- Escalate any HR related concerns or cases to the Senior HR Business Partner, where advice is not acted on appropriately and where there is increased risk.
- Handle confidential HR matters with discretion and sensitivity.
- Promote employee engagement and morale by fostering a positive work environment.
- Facilitate employee feedback mechanisms and implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction.
- Deliver HR-related communications such as policy changes, and organisational updates.
HR Collaboration:
- Provide regular updates to the Senior HR Business Partner on key ER activities.
- In partnership with the Regional HR BPs, manage salary benchmarking reviews with Talent Acquisition to ensure most up to date benchmarks.
- Liaise with the regional HRSS team or local HR / Office Managers on necessary administrative and payroll actions.
- Liaise with Business Partner functions such as Legal and Finance, where required, to ensure processes and ways of working are aligned and effective.
- Support the design and delivery of training programs and workshops for employees and managers on various topics such as performance management and leadership development.
Who you are:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in human resources function with strong background in employee relation and employee engagement.
- Preferably with regional experience handling Southeast Asia
- Strong communicative skills, written and verbal.
- Good interpersonal skills to be able to trust and maintain positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Good understanding of local and regional employment legislation.
- Strong attention to detail when maintaining accurate data, documentation and any data related to employee information and processes.
- Flexibility where required to be able to change priorities and manage unexpected challenges in the business.
- Good time management skills when working towards deadlines and be able to offer HR support in a timely manner.
- Proficient in software such as Microsoft and ideally knowledge of HRIS D365 and PowerBI.
Other duties which are reasonably within the capabilities of a staff member in this position may need to be performed from time to time, in addition to or instead of the above duties.
