Regional Sales Trainer (IVD)
A leading global healthcare organisation is seeking a Regional Sales Trainer specialising in In Vitro Diagnostics to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers you the opportunity to shape and deliver impactful sales education programmes across a diverse region, working closely with supportive leadership teams and contributing to the growth of commercial excellence.

By assessing team competencies across product knowledge, market insights, tools usage, soft skills, and strategic selling abilities, you will identify areas for improvement and implement targeted upskilling solutions. Your ability to manage timelines effectively while fostering intercultural sensitivity will ensure that training initiatives are delivered seamlessly across diverse markets.
- Collaborate extensively with global, zone, and country leadership teams to design and implement effective sales education programmes tailored for the APJ region.
- Serve as the lead trainer for various selling skills training initiatives, including strategic selling, negotiation, value-based selling, coaching, and leadership.
- Drive the Train-the-Trainer programme by developing new sales trainers and ambassadors throughout the APJ zone, ensuring sustainable expansion of training capabilities.
- Map out sales roles such as sales representatives, specialists, managers, business partner managers, and marketing professionals to implement targeted sales certification programmes in each country.
- Coordinate comprehensive assessments of sales team capabilities—including product knowledge, market understanding, tool utilisation, soft skills, and strategic selling—to inform subsequent upskilling initiatives.
- Align curriculum content with local needs by adapting programmes for indirect partners versus direct sales forces across different countries.
- Enhance tools and processes that support commercial excellence within the sales force by continuously refining training frameworks and methodologies.
- Deliver competency assessments targeting effective expansion of market share and profitability throughout the region.
- Monitor timelines and deliverables for all training initiatives to ensure successful implementation and measurable outcomes.
