A leading global pharmaceutical company is seeking a Medical Sales Representative to join its Dermatology team in Johor, covering both government and private hospitals. This is an exciting opportunity to represent an innovative dermatology portfolio while building strong partnerships with dermatologists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.

What you'll do:

As a Medical Sales Representative – Dermatology (Johor), you will play a key role in driving the growth of the dermatology portfolio across hospital accounts in both government and private sectors. You will engage closely with healthcare professionals to promote product awareness, support clinical education, and strengthen long-term partnerships.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve sales targets within the dermatology hospital channel.
  • Build strong relationships with dermatologists, pharmacists, and key decision-makers across hospitals in Johor.
  • Identify and grow new business opportunities while expanding product usage in existing accounts.
  • Deliver impactful scientific presentations and product discussions to healthcare professionals.
  • Organise CME sessions, workshops, and hospital-based educational activities with key opinion leaders.
  • Work closely with internal teams to implement marketing strategies effectively.
  • Maintain accurate reporting of sales activities, territory updates, and market insights.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to support strategic planning.
  • Ensure all promotional activities comply with ethical and regulatory standards.
  • Foster strong, trust-based relationships with healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.

What you bring:

To succeed in this role, you should have experience within the pharmaceutical or medical sales industry, ideally within hospital-based or specialty care environments.

  • Degree or Diploma in Science, Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales, preferably hospital channel.
  • Experience in dermatology, specialty care, or related therapeutic areas is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage healthcare professionals.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and results-driven with strong territory management skills.
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel across hospitals in Johor.
  • Flexibility to support workshops, events, and occasional weekend activities when required.
