  • Identify emerging trends in the luxury sector and capitalise on growth opportunities that enhance the hotel's competitive edge.
  • Oversee financial management by achieving annual revenue targets, optimising profitability metrics such as GOP and EBITDA, and implementing effective cost controls without compromising service quality.
  • Direct all hotel departments to maintain world-class service levels, ensuring compliance with rigorous brand standards and exceeding guest expectations at every touchpoint.
  • Champion a culture of outstanding guest service by personally engaging with VIPs, celebrities, dignitaries, and high-net-worth individuals while resolving complex concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Drive commercial success across rooms, food & beverage outlets, spa facilities, events, and ancillary services by building strategic partnerships with travel agencies, luxury brands, tourism boards, and corporate clients.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the executive leadership team to foster a high-performance culture focused on employee engagement, talent management, succession planning, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain robust relationships with owners, investors, franchisors, and other key stakeholders by presenting insightful business performance reports and representing the hotel at industry events.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements by overseeing health & safety programmes, crisis management plans, business continuity initiatives, and safeguarding the hotel's reputation.

  • A proven track record spanning 15–20 years in progressive hospitality leadership roles demonstrates your deep understanding of luxury hotel operations.
  • At least 5–10 years’ experience as a General Manager within internationally recognised five-star or luxury hotels ensures you bring invaluable insights into premium guest service delivery.
  • Familiarity with leading international brands such as Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Mandarin Oriental or similar is considered highly advantageous for this position.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking abilities enable you to craft forward-looking business plans that anticipate market shifts while aligning with owner objectives.
  • Expertise in financial management—including budgeting, revenue optimisation strategies (such as pricing/market positioning), cost control measures—is essential for driving profitability without sacrificing quality.
  • Outstanding communication skills allow you to build rapport with diverse stakeholders including owners, staff members at all levels, VIP guests and external partners.
  • Demonstrated capability in talent development means you can nurture future leaders through coaching programmes focused on succession planning and professional growth.
  • Experience managing change initiatives equips you to lead organisational transformation projects that keep pace with evolving industry trends.
