What you'll do:

As Director Corporate Development, you will be at the forefront of advancing the organisation’s strategic ambitions across Southeast Asia.

• Source, evaluate, and execute acquisition, partnership, and market expansion opportunities
• Oversee the entire execution process of M&A transactions—including due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and coordination with both internal stakeholders and external advisors—to ensure seamless delivery.
• Prepare detailed investment cases for internal approval processes
• Supervise post-transaction integration activities to maximise value realisation from completed deals
• Mentor, guide, and develop junior team members by fostering a nurturing environment focused on skill enhancement and career progression.
• Maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives, founders/owners, investors, and other key stakeholders to facilitate effective communication throughout all stages of the transaction lifecycle.

What you bring:

To excel as Director Corporate Development, you will bring substantial experience from roles involving corporate development or M&A within large corporates or investment firms—ideally spanning both advisory (such as investment banking or Big Four) and in-house functions.

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in corporate development, investment banking, M&A advisory or transaction-related business development within a corporate or multinational environment.
• Demonstrated expertise managing end-to-end transaction processes including evaluation, financial modelling, due diligence, structuring, negotiations, and execution.
• Exceptional financial modelling skills combined with advanced valuation techniques and deal structuring capabilities relevant to complex transactions.
• High level of initiative demonstrated through independent project execution while effectively managing multiple priorities or workstreams simultaneously.
• Track record mentoring junior professionals within a collaborative team environment focused on knowledge sharing and professional development.
