What You’ll Do

As the General Manager, QA/QC based in Negeri Sembilan, you will be at the helm of ensuring top-tier quality standards across all operations within this dynamic chemical industry leader. Your role will involve strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and fostering a proactive quality culture that resonates throughout the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Spearheading quality strategies aligned with business objectives and global regulations.
• Overseeing Quality Management Systems (QMS) implementation and improvement across all functions.
• Monitoring plant and central QA performance through KPIs and structured reviews.
• Harmonizing QA systems such as CAPA, change control, complaints management, audits, lab testing, calibration, and validation.
• Leading readiness for regulatory inspections and major customer audits.
• Driving root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive actions for systemic issues.
• Managing QA budgets, resources, and headcount for optimal execution.
• Collaborating with leadership to integrate quality goals into strategic planning initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

Your expertise in quality assurance and control will be instrumental in driving operational excellence within this highly regulated chemical manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• At least 15 years of experience in manufacturing (8 years in managerial roles), preferably within the chemical process industry or other highly regulated sectors.
• Proven leadership in QMS implementation, compliance management, and customer interface.
• Strong knowledge of GMP standards and manufacturing technologies.
• Expertise in CAPA processes, RCA methodologies, and conducting quality audits.
• Familiarity with Lean principles and operational excellence frameworks.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, leadership, and people development skills.
