Project Manager (Data Centre, Security Solutions)

What you'll do:

• Manage end-to-end execution of security, ELV, mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure projects from initial planning through commissioning.
• Oversee detailed project scheduling, budgeting, implementation phases, testing procedures, and final system integration reviews.
• Install and coordinate integrated systems including perimeter solutions such as gates and fences, CCTV with video analytics, access control systems, alarm monitoring platforms, perimeter intrusion detection systems (PIDS), structured cabling networks, fire alarm safety systems, PA systems, and security command centres.
• Coordinate construction activities alongside structural works, M&E installations, and electronic security deployments within data centre environments and other critical facilities.
• Supervise subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and site teams to ensure strict compliance with project specifications, timelines, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Review technical drawings, method statements, risk assessments, engineering specifications to guarantee accuracy and adherence to client requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections, lead project meetings for troubleshooting issues or integrating new systems; ensure seamless collaboration between all parties involved.
• Ensure all aspects of the project comply with ISO standards (including 19001/14001/45001), workplace safety regulations, client expectations, and industry best practices.
• Consult directly with clients, consultants, authorities, and stakeholders on technical matters to foster understanding and co-operation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support procurement planning by coordinating materials logistics; manage project claims processes including variation orders; prepare comprehensive progress reports for senior management.

What you bring:

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Security Systems) or related discipline is required for this role.
• Certifications in CIDB and Project Management are mandatory; additional certifications in ISO 19001/14001/45001 are highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM software tools, MS Project or similar platforms is essential for effective project documentation.
• Minimum six years’ proven experience managing integrated engineering or security system projects within commercial buildings or critical infrastructure environments.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge spanning mechanical & electrical systems; ELV infrastructure; electronic security solutions; data centre operations; perimeter fencing & access control technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex engineering drawings as well as technical specifications accurately for successful project delivery.
• Experience managing projects specifically within data centres is preferred; familiarity with commercial buildings or industrial facilities adds further value.
• Strong interpersonal skills including leadership qualities that foster collaboration among teams; excellent communication abilities for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Problem-solving aptitude combined with sensitivity towards workplace safety requirements ensures compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ability to work dependably under pressure while managing multiple concurrent projects demonstrates commitment to communal success.
