What you'll do:

As Production Manager in Penang’s thriving manufacturing sector, you will be responsible for orchestrating all aspects of production operations from PCBA outsourcing through final assembly to box build processes. Your day-to-day activities will involve developing robust production schedules that respond dynamically to customer demands while maintaining optimal resource allocation. You will champion compliance with safety regulations and quality standards by implementing rigorous GMP protocols and overseeing employee training initiatives. By monitoring key performance metrics such as output efficiency and cost control measures, you will drive lean manufacturing strategies that reduce waste without compromising product integrity.   • Oversee end-to-end production operations including PCBA outsourcing coordination, final assembly, and box build processes to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor production schedules that align with customer demand while minimising downtime and optimising resource utilisation.
  • Optimise labour, equipment, space, and materials usage to achieve plant manufacturing objectives in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, quality requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ESD management protocols, housekeeping standards, and employee training programmes.
  • Monitor and analyse Key Performance Indicators such as output, yield, efficiency, on-time delivery (OTD), and cost to drive lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Lead operations cost-saving projects across materials, labour, overheads, and process efficiency while promoting sustainable practices.
  • Establish shopfloor data collection systems for reporting corrective and preventive actions to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Enforce quality control standards to guarantee product reliability and customer satisfaction through root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance teams to deploy best practices for process improvements and conduct detailed workflow analyses for continuous improvement.
