We are partnering with a reputable FMCG manufacturing company in Selangor to hire a hands-on Maintenance Manager (FMCG Manufacturing) to lead plant engineering and maintenance operations.

What you’ll do

As the Maintenance Manager (FMCG Manufacturing) in Selangor, you will oversee plant maintenance, utilities, and engineering activities to ensure smooth and reliable production within the FMCG industry.

• Lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians
• Drive preventive maintenance and minimise unplanned downtime
• Support daily production with timely technical troubleshooting
• Partner cross-functionally with Production and Quality teams
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Oversee plant utilities and infrastructure to maintain stable operations
• Lead improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, cost, and reliability
• Manage engineering projects and external vendors where required
• Promote strong safety practices and ensure HSE compliance

What you’ll bring

• Degree in Engineering or related field
• 10–12 years of experience in FMCG or similar manufacturing environments
• Proven track record in leading maintenance/engineering teams
• Strong understanding of plant operations, equipment reliability, and maintenance planning
• Familiarity with food safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP/GMP)
• Solid problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Adaptable in a fast-paced production environment
