What You’ll Do

As the CEO of Construction, you will be at the helm of strategic decision-making, operational oversight, and financial stewardship for the company’s construction division. Your leadership will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to impeccable quality standards while driving profitability and sustainable growth.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute long-term business strategies aligned with corporate objectives. Identify new market opportunities and provide insights to the Board on industry trends.
• Project Delivery: Oversee planning, execution, resource allocation, and contractor management to ensure timely delivery of complex construction projects.
• Financial Management: Manage P&L accountability, cost control measures, and cash flow optimization while implementing value engineering initiatives.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to CIDB regulations, OSH laws, environmental standards, and ethical practices.
• People Leadership: Build a high-performing team culture by mentoring senior executives and fostering talent development.
• Stakeholder Relations: Represent the company in dealings with clients, regulators, JV partners, suppliers, and contractors to protect commercial interests.

What You’ll Bring

You are an accomplished leader with deep expertise in the construction industry, ready to take on one of Kuala Lumpur’s most exciting executive roles. Your qualifications include:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related fields; MBA or Master’s Degree is highly advantageous.
• Professional certifications such as BEM registration or CIOB membership are preferred.
• At least 20 years of experience in construction with 8–10 years in senior leadership roles like CEO or MD or simular capacity.
• Proven track record managing large-scale infrastructure or high-rise projects within PLCs or corporate environments.
• Exceptional skills in strategic planning, financial acumen, negotiation, and client relationship management.
• Commitment to quality assurance, compliance standards, and operational efficiency.
