Key Responsibilities

As a Technical Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting customers and ensuring optimal performance of lubricant products. Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support and application expertise for industrial lubricant products and solutions.
  • Conducting site visits, equipment inspections, and lubricant assessments to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Supporting customers in lubrication practices, product selection, condition monitoring, and maintenance optimization.
  • Investigating lubrication-related issues, performing root cause analysis, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborating with Sales and Business Development teams to provide technical consultation and support customer acquisition efforts.
  • Conducting product demonstrations, field trials, and technical evaluations at customer sites.
  • Preparing detailed technical reports, analysis findings, and actionable recommendations for customers.
  • Delivering technical presentations, training sessions, and workshops to customers and internal teams.
  • Working closely with Product Management, R&D, and Operations teams on product improvement initiatives.
  • Monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies relevant to lubrication practices.

What You’ll Bring

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 3–8 years of experience in technical service, application engineering, maintenance engineering, reliability engineering, or lubrication-related roles.
  • Experience within lubricants, industrial fluids, specialty chemicals, rotating equipment maintenance/reliability is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of industrial equipment such as pumps, compressors, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, turbines, or manufacturing machinery.
  • Hands-on experience conducting technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and field investigations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and provide tailored recommendations.
  • Willingness to travel for customer visits and site support activities as required.
