ZOP - Manager, Credit Administration
This is a full-time role specializing in commercial and consumer loan documentation. The scope covers end-to-end processing from Letter of Offer issuance, vetting and verification of security documents, ensuring compliance with conditions precedent in line with approved credit terms and internal guidelines, to facility disbursement and eventual account closure, including the discharge or release of related collateral.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to daily email enquiries from business units and respond within SLA timelines
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Loan Documentation Unit (Malaysia), including Letter of Offer issuance, disbursement, partial prepayments, and redemption of secured and unsecured loans for Singapore CAD
- Liaise with the Singapore CAD team on operational queries and daily task coordination
- Coordinate with lawyers, valuers, and insurers in relation to property-related matters
- Prepare and submit monthly reports in line with CAD volume requirements
- Arrange and coordinate training for staff to ensure adequate capability and operational readiness
- Support audit requests and provide required documentation where necessary
- Lead and manage a team of staff
- Perform any other duties or tasks assigned by management from time to time
Job Specification
- Diploma or Degree in (Accounting/Finance/Business/Economics/Financial Engineering) or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in credit administration or a related field within the banking and financial services industry
- Experience in Commercial/Corporate or Wholesale Banking, preferably with team leadership experience as well
- Well verse on security documentation with the knowledge on those law related thereon, industry practices and ability to extend professional feedback/comment upon request
Technical/Functional Skills
- Knowledge and understanding of banking operations including operational processes and services and regulatory requirements.
- Strong understanding of credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrates the ability to carry out monetary tasks such as disbursement, redemption, repayments, and payments, etc
- Good Computer proficiency (Ms Word, Excel, Power Point and other related software and applications).
Personal Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
- A team player with a proactive and collaborative approach to work
