An exciting opportunity to join a leading regional financial institution as a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager. This role is ideal for driven relationship bankers who are passionate about working with large local corporates and multinational clients, delivering strategic financial solutions and supporting business growth. You will manage key client relationships, originate new business opportunities, and collaborate with product specialists to provide holistic banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and expand a portfolio of corporate banking clients by developing strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders.
- Understand clients' business strategies, operating models, and financial requirements to identify opportunities and deliver value-added banking solutions.
- Drive business development initiatives by acquiring new-to-bank relationships and deepening existing client engagements.
- Collaborate closely with internal product partners to structure and deliver tailored solutions across lending, cash management, trade finance, treasury, and other corporate banking products.
- Conduct regular client engagements and market reviews to identify emerging opportunities, industry trends, and potential risks.
- Prepare and present relationship strategies, financial analyses, and credit proposals to support business growth and sound portfolio management.
- Deliver exceptional client service by responding proactively to client needs and ensuring timely resolution of issues and requests.
- Maintain strong risk and governance standards while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Corporate Banking, Relationship Management, Structured Finance, Credit Analysis, or a related financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of corporate banking products, including lending, trade finance, cash management, and treasury solutions.
- Proven track record in relationship management, business development, and managing complex client portfolios.
- Strong financial analysis, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially driven with the ability to think strategically and identify growth opportunities.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and client-centric environment.
