Assistant Manager, Sales

Negotiate competitive and sustainable pricing while ensuring compliance with internal policies. Manage and develop merchant relationships, overseeing onboarding, operations, and fraud prevention to maintain service efficiency. Collaborate with business development teams on product initiatives and revenue opportunities. Monitor market trends, sales performance, and territory activities, while staying updated on industry developments and competitor landscape.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate competitive and sustainable pricing to support business growth
• Ensure all account onboarding and operations comply with internal policies and requirements
• Manage and strengthen merchant relationships, while overseeing daily operations such as terminal setup, training on card acceptance, and fraud prevention to ensure operational efficiency
• Work closely with the business development team on new product initiatives, sales support, and revenue generation opportunities
• Monitor and forecast market trends, sales performance, and territory activities
• Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and team initiatives
• Stay updated on competitor activities, market trends, industry standards, and relevant technologies

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of the financial services industry
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies
• Strong planning, organizational, and presentation skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated and adaptable in a dynamic work environment

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience within the financial services industry, with proven track record
• Experience in credit card sales is an added advantage

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred

Other Requirements

• Willingness to travel and possess own transportation
