What you'll do:

  • Maintain and document up-to-date job control language for each program involved in scheduled production runs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with operational standards.
  • Track and document all shift turnover issues meticulously to guarantee smooth transitions between shifts and maintain continuity of service.
  • Contribute actively to job scheduling processes, report distribution tasks, and the ongoing development and enforcement of data centre standards within the team.
  • Monitor the application library diligently to ensure the correct generation of data files required for production runs, promptly tracking any issues through to resolution.
  • Oversee end-of-day batch processes by monitoring for job failures, identifying root causes swiftly, and implementing effective remediation strategies to minimise disruption.
  • Utilise ITRS Dashboard tools to monitor application health continuously, responding proactively to any alerts or anomalies detected during routine checks.
  • Ensure timely delivery of data outputs to downstream consumers such as front office teams by coordinating efforts across multiple departments as needed.
  • Drive improvements in system stability and enhance the overall quality of data provided to front office stakeholders through careful analysis and process optimisation.
  • Document new technical issues as they arise while maintaining and enhancing existing documentation so that consistent steps are followed for known problems.
  • Coordinate effectively between support, development, analytics, and quantitative teams to resolve complex issues collaboratively and efficiently.
