WQ - PTP Tower Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procure to Pay Tower Lead to join a globally recognised organisation based in Petaling Jaya. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative and inclusive environment, where your expertise in transaction processing and team management will be highly valued. You will play a pivotal part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality service across multiple countries, supporting end-to-end Procure to Pay (PTP) processes within a shared services framework.
What you'll do:
- Lead a dedicated transaction processing team to deliver exceptional service covering all aspects of Procure to Pay processes for various countries.
- Take responsibility for the accurate processing of payments, customer invoicing, and other agreed transactional activities within scope.
- Collaborate closely with shared services teams to provide seamless end-to-end process solutions tailored to country-specific requirements.
- Act as the primary escalation point for country teams, offering guidance and support in resolving significant performance or process-related issues.
- Work alongside Business Process Owners to implement process changes, drive improvements, and address any operational gaps identified within the PTP function.
- Monitor and report on defined process performance metrics, including key performance indicators (KPIs), proactively addressing any areas requiring attention.
- Promote a culture focused on compliance, service delivery excellence, and continuous improvement throughout the team.
- Establish regular meetings with team members to foster effective communication, encourage inclusion, and ensure everyone feels connected and supported.
- Motivate team members by recognising achievements and encouraging quality performance through positive reinforcement.
- Support digitalisation initiatives and contribute hands-on expertise towards strategic process enhancements.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience/qualification.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience specifically within Procure to Pay functions, showcasing deep understanding of how these processes integrate into wider organisational structures.
- Proven track record on leveraging technology to improve processes.
- Up-to-date awareness of emerging trends and best practices within transaction processing areas relevant to large-scale operations.
- Strong background in team management including motivation strategies that promote high performance and inclusivity among staff members.
- Hands-on experience driving digitalisation initiatives as well as contributing strategic insights towards ongoing process improvements.
