RTR Senior Analyst

What you'll do:

As a Record to Report Senior Analyst, you will be entrusted with responsibilities that are central to the integrity of the organisation’s financial data. • Execute comprehensive end-to-end month-end closing activities with precision, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments while maintaining strict adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial statements by performing detailed reviews in line with relevant accounting principles.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, promptly investigating discrepancies and clearing outstanding reconciling items within agreed timelines.
• Maintain thorough supporting documentation for all transactions to facilitate smooth audit processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee general ledger accounts by conducting regular reviews, identifying variances or issues, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Support both internal and external audits by preparing required schedules, providing necessary documentation, and addressing auditor queries efficiently.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within Record to Report activities, contributing ideas for standardisation and automation initiatives across the SSC environment.
• Collaborate closely with business units, regional finance teams, and auditors to provide timely financial information that supports effective decision-making.
• Uphold compliance with internal policies, SOX requirements, statutory regulations, and best practices throughout all aspects of financial operations.
