What you'll do:
As a Record to Report Senior Analyst, you will be entrusted with responsibilities that are central to the integrity of the organisation’s financial data. - Ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial statements by performing detailed reviews in line with relevant accounting principles.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, promptly investigating discrepancies and clearing outstanding reconciling items within agreed timelines.
- Maintain thorough supporting documentation for all transactions to facilitate smooth audit processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee general ledger accounts by conducting regular reviews, identifying variances or issues, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Support both internal and external audits by preparing required schedules, providing necessary documentation, and addressing auditor queries efficiently.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within Record to Report activities, contributing ideas for standardisation and automation initiatives across the SSC environment.
- Collaborate closely with business units, regional finance teams, and auditors to provide timely financial information that supports effective decision-making.
- Uphold compliance with internal policies, SOX requirements, statutory regulations, and best practices throughout all aspects of financial operations.
