What you'll do:
- Complete month-end closing activities with precision, including tasks such as Group Recharge accruals, posting payroll entries, fixed assets depreciation, prepaid expenses management, intercompany loan interest calculations, VAT checks, and foreign exchange revaluation.
- Provide audit support for both local statutory requirements and Group IFRS reports by preparing accurate documentation and responding promptly to queries.
- Assist your supervisor in explaining monthly balance sheet movements during month-end closing processes, ensuring timely follow-up on abnormal variances to maintain financial integrity.
- Identify, check, and resolve intercompany imbalances across balance sheet and profit & loss accounts by collaborating closely with ICO partners.
- Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Working Instructions (WI) in daily operations while proactively updating these documents as needed.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of accounting workflows and actively contribute towards achieving key performance indicator targets set by the organisation.
- Serve as backup for team members involved in the Record to Report process, providing support during absences or peak periods to ensure seamless operations.
- Support ad hoc tasks assigned by your supervisor with flexibility and enthusiasm, adapting quickly to new challenges as they arise.
- Engage regularly with colleagues across departments to foster a sense of teamwork and shared responsibility for financial accuracy.

What you bring:
- A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in finance or accounting; this educational foundation ensures you have the theoretical knowledge necessary for success.
- At least two years of relevant general accounting experience is essential so you can confidently handle complex month-end processes.
- Good communication skills are vital; workable English proficiency enables you to interact effectively with colleagues across departments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications is important for managing daily tasks efficiently; experience with Microsoft AX 2012 or Dynamics 365 is considered advantageous but not mandatory.
