What you'll do:

- Own the full cycle of benefits realisation for accounting centre of excellence (COE) initiatives by converting productivity improvements into sustained capacity release that supports higher-value activities or enables organisational scalability.
- Establish robust methodologies to validate savings—distinguishing between run-rate and one-time benefits—while preventing benefit leakage and embedding improvements into daily operations.
- Drive measurable enhancements in COE operational outcomes such as cycle time reduction, increased productivity, improved stability, and elevated quality standards in alignment with strategic objectives.
- Oversee global operational health across all accounting COE services by ensuring stable delivery models, scalable frameworks, and consistent execution throughout multiple regions.
- Translate service commitments into disciplined operating practices by monitoring service level agreements (SLAs), maintaining performance visibility, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Partner with functional leaders to reinforce standardisation efforts, ensure operational readiness, and maintain execution consistency that underpins best-in-class performance benchmarks.
- Serve as the principal advisor on accounting matters during enterprise process or system transformations—ensuring solutions are feasible, scalable, and sustainable from an accounting perspective.
- Influence senior stakeholders to facilitate timely decision-making, resolve cross-functional challenges, and secure accountability across both upstream and downstream partners.
- Lead the resolution of high-risk or high-visibility issues affecting operational continuity or compliance readiness by applying structured problem-solving techniques under pressure.

- Extensive experience—typically 12–15 years or more—in finance transformation roles within centres of excellence or large-scale operations environments.
- Proven track record of influencing senior leaders across functions and geographies to drive consensus-based decisions that align with organisational goals.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional change initiatives within complex settings while maintaining composure under ambiguity or time constraints.
- Exceptional ability to apply strategic thinking combined with strong external perspective—translating industry insights into actionable roadmaps for operational improvement.
- Deep understanding of risk management principles with experience resolving high-stakes issues impacting control environments or compliance readiness.
- Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams including functional leaders from accounts payable (AP), general ledger (GL), fixed assets (FA), procurement/S2P, IT, tax and finance operations.
- Strong analytical mindset capable of establishing practical approaches for validating savings and preventing benefit leakage within large organisations.
- Experience developing scalable standards for service delivery while ensuring adherence to SLAs/KPIs through disciplined operating rhythms.
