What you'll do:

As a Senior Accountant based in Petaling Jaya, you will play an integral role in overseeing the organisation’s day-to-day finance operations. • Manage the full set of accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions with precision and care.
• Prepare monthly management reports and comprehensive financial statements that accurately reflect the organisation’s financial position.
• Perform thorough bank reconciliations as well as balance sheet reconciliations to ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Oversee timely month-end and year-end closing activities by coordinating with relevant stakeholders and adhering strictly to deadlines.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and necessary adjustments in accordance with established accounting standards and internal policies.
• Assist in compiling audit schedules and tax-related documentation, working closely with auditors and tax agents to facilitate smooth reviews.
• Monitor cash flow regularly while supporting budgeting and forecasting activities to help drive informed business decisions.
• Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, company policies, and recognised accounting standards such as IFRS or GAAP.
• Liaise effectively with auditors, tax agents, and various internal stakeholders to address queries promptly and maintain transparent communication.
