Chief Risk Officer

A leading public listed company operating in the consumer products, hospitality and energy is seeking for a Chief Risk Officer to champion enterprise-wide risk, compliance, and integrity initiatives that underpin strategic growth, robust governance, organisational resilience, and sustainable value creation.

What you'll do:

• Lead the design and execution of enterprise-wide risk management, compliance, integrity and sustainability strategies that support organisational growth, governance, resilience, and sustainability.
• Drive the development of a proactive governance framework using nsights to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations.
• Oversee enterprise compliance governance by monitoring adherence to laws, healthcare regulations, statutory obligations, and internal policies throughout the Group.
• Head the Group Integrity function by managing fraud prevention initiatives, whistleblowing channels, ethics programmes, and conducting thorough misconduct investigations.
• Collaborate closely with multiple functions across the organisation to influence stakeholders at all levels in adopting best practices for risk mitigation and compliance.
• Establish effective communication channels for reporting risks and compliance issues while fostering transparency within the organisation.
• Support transformation initiatives by integrating risk management principles into business processes for long-term success.

What you'll bring:

• Over 20 years of progressive experience in risk management, compliance, integrity functions, or internal audit within large-scale organisations.
• Industry experience in consumer products, hospitality and energy would be preferred.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions and levels in complex environments.
• Extensive experience engaging with Boards of Directors and Senior Management as an advisor on enterprise risk matters.
• Demonstrated motivation to contribute actively to organisational transformation journeys focused on excellence.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to collaborate effectively with teams from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong analytical capabilities for interpreting data-driven insights relevant to governance frameworks.
