Finance business partner (Leasing & Capex)

What you'll do:

As a Finance Business Partner based in Kuala Lumpur, you will collaborate closely with the leasing and store business unit

• Establish and drive effective financial processes and strategies within the region
• Lead the local budgeting and forecasting activities for Leasing and Finance
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for both capital investments (Capex) and operational expenditures (Opex)
• Track and evaluate sales performance, profitability, operating costs, and investment spend, providing insights against budgets and targets
• Support the business unit in understanding and applying key financial metrics such as ROI, rental performance, selling productivity, net investments, and cost management
• Coordinate and oversee expansion audit acitivities
  
  

What you bring:

Your expertise extends to managing Capex/Opex reporting cycles alongside budget planning responsibilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• 3–8+ years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, or Commercial Finance
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Exposure to retail, leasing, real estate, or expansion/project-based environments is an advantage
• Strong understanding of financial KPIs such as ROI, cost efficiency, and investment analysis
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Power BI, or similar) is a plus
